The Steadfast Love of the Lord endures forever!
We have heard Steadfast Love often enough in the psalms. But Psalm 136 underpins God’s steadfast love with everything he does. From creation to the present moment.
This psalm invites us to see all of God’s actions as being done according to God’s mercy.
This psalm is creedal then in its prayer. It gives us a summary of God’s work in creation and also in God’s work to save his people.
