Psalm 5 is set within the context of worship. Who can stand before God and who cannot and why.
The Psalm alternates between speaking toward God and lamenting about the adversaries, even using language that we are not comfortable often using with God.
Before God we stand because of His righteousness and His steadfast love. We are blessed by his works and made a delight pleasing because Jesus Christ entered into the holy places of God his Father.
