The Belt of Truth: Psalm 104:1-18

Psalm 104 is the other twin psalm to Psalm 103 with the same opening and closing line.
While Psalm 103 focused on God’s work of salvation. Psalm 104 picks up God’s work of creation.
The verses wind their way through as a commentary on the days of creation. We see in this psalm God’s care and order of his creation. He is the King of creation.
As the Psalm goes on, it begins to anticipate the back half of creation. Showing us that the creation was made to serve the living creatures in it.
Also each creature has a dwelling place. God makes animals fit in their respective area.
Finally the psalm has the entire creation looking at the hand of God to satisfy every need.
