The Belt of Truth: Psalm 9:13-20

Psalm 9:13-20 picks up from the confidence that God hears the cries of the distressed to that of someone who is distressed and afflicted crying out.
The voice of the Psalm cries out for a deliverance from death to life and for the hope that God is above all the powers of the enemy and that his reign is sure and certain while the powers of man are but frail and fleeting.
The Psalm ends with a cry for God to rise and see the record straight and to remind his creatures that they are just that: limited and finite.
