The Belt of Truth: Psalm 63

David has a desire for God as he staggers in the wilderness from his son, Absalom, who has conducted a coup.
David realizes that at all times of the day and night and in all his longings, that they are a need from God for all times of the day.
David says that God’s steadfast love is better than life itself. And therefore David knows that he will be satisfied by God because God has a stake in David’s life and family.
Indeed, that stake is the promise of Jesus Christ, who is the Savior of all.
